NowThatsFuckedUp.com Owner Released On Bail, Attorney to Appear on YNOT Radio Wednesday

POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA - With $151,000 worth of bail bond obscenity charges lodged against him by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, NowThatsFuckedUp.com website owner Chris Wilson probably never thought he’d see the light of pre-trial day. Yet, thanks to the fact that his parents were able to raise $30,100 in bail, he’s as free a man today as he can be, given the circumstances.
According to Wilson’s attorney, Larry Walters of Orlando, Florida, the bail payment was arranged on Monday, but because it took so long to work through the 301 bonds, his client’s release was delayed until Tuesday afternoon. Attempts to combine the charges in order to lower the amount of bail were refused by the State Attorney’s Office.
Although Wilson’s site had recently made international headlines due to photos allegedly showing dead insurgents sent in by military persons claiming to be stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan, the 301 obscenity charges lodged against Wilson relate to the amateur photography section of his site.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd insists that the photos found on the site “shocks the conscience of the community.”
